Seeking WordPress hosting for site currently on WordPress.org

Can I transfer a hosted site from WordPress.org to WordPress.com for WordPress hosting? the site is http://wehearyou.net/ (which no longer shows up in the Blog URLs here)
It was inadvertently moved from .com to .org the other day when I sought help on the WordPress.org forum. I want to replace the site with the Blog URL this post is submitted under and have the new wehearyou.net site hosted by WordPress.com
Will this procedure work to restore it to my listed sites on WordPress.com so that I can have WordPress host the site?
Moving from WordPress.org
If you are moving from a self-hosted blog using the WordPress.org software, you can move your blog to our WordPress.com service with the following steps:
Register a WordPress.com account and blog at http://wordpress.com/signup/
In the old blog, go to Tools → Export and download the XML (WXR) file to your computer.
In the new blog (on WordPress.com), go to Tools → Import → WordPress and upload the file you downloaded in step 2. After you upload the file, you can choose the option to Download & import file attachments if you want to move your media files.The site was created and maintained on WordPress.com and only two days ago migrated over to the .org side. I went to register and it told me the name was already in use. Is the name going to be covered by the domain name I want the site pointed to anyway?

If I register another name and migrate the site over from the .org side to be hosted on WordPress.com will this enable me to point animationtestsite.wordpress.com to the domain name where I want it to appear?
