Seems like wordpress admin has crashed on me… PLEASE HELP!

  Hey everyone!

  So this morning I logged into my wp-admin of my blog (www.woelag.co.za) and at first glance, everything seems to be working. I then started noticing a few weird things happening and have no idea where these issues came from, nor how to get rid of the problem.

  Simply put, the following just stopped working:

  Cant publish a post
  Can’t save a post to draft or preview, just redirects me to my “edit posts” section.
  Can’t use the “quick edit” or normal edit…. the post seems to dissapear under “all posts” section, and only returns once I’ve refreshed.
  Can’t even deactivate a plugin. Says plugin has been deactivated, but it’s still there with the option of deactivating.
  Our counter plugin (Counterize II) just stopped counting.
  I also can’t edit comments i.e approve etc.

  It’s almost as though any and all “changes” to the database is not allowed, without giving me an error. Due to the fact that I can’t even publish any posts, I need to fix this problem asap.

  I’m currently using WordPress 2.9.2 with the option of upgrading to WordPress 3.0.1. Wonder if I back up all files and database etc, if this will fix the problem? All these issues came at the same time, so my feeling is it’s one issues effecting everything,whereever changes are made to the database.

  Any advice on how to fix this?
