Seems like WordPress doesn't have a way to verify ownership with Norton
-
I have posted several times about my site being blacklisted (apparently for spam although there is no spam) by Norton Safe Web and my inability to get them to rescan it because of WordPress’s lack of tools for inserting meta tags, and Norton staff and others keep telling me (1) that Norton does not verify sites (yes, they do), giving me instructions to verify ownership with Google and Bing and Pinterest (which are irrelevant to the problem), and basically ignoring my responses.
So today I searched for similar questions, and guess what? They have not been answered either. Seems we are all getting the same silent treatment, which leads me to believe that this is a serious problem for which WordPress has no solution.
The only solution, it appears to me, is to move my blogs to another site. There’s no point in posting to a blog that only about half of my readers can access (or are afraid to because of Norton’s warning).
If WordPress staff (or anyone) has a solution to this problem, I challenge you not only to respond, but to engage in a meaningful dialogue with me instead of posting a drive-by response and then closing the topic.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi barbiesa,
As I explained before in this thread:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blacklisted-3?replies=2#post-1359768You will need to remove the content that is being flagged by Norton as problematic (and I cannot speak to why that is the case – the links I provided show you your report and where the issue is). Norton should then (eventually) scan the site again and resolve the issue.
Beyond that, we are unable to assist you as the issue is ultimately on Norton’s end, not with WordPress.com.
