Sela: Blog

    Hi everyone!

    Can someone explaine me how to use the Blog like on the Sela site demo? I already created the Post Page, like reffered at https://wordpress.com/theme/sela, however, the rest of the “tutorial” just ignores compleley that area. My wish is to use the already existing blog post of my blog to that area, so i can have a static front page.

    I’m not sure that I understand your question so please forgive me if I don’t get it first time round.
    Am I correct in assuming the following:
    1) You have created a Posts page
    2) You have created one or more Posts for the blog
    3) You are wanting to have the Posts that you have created show on the Posts page which is currently not happening

    If this is correct then my suggestion would be to try the following:
    1) Go to My Sites
    2) If you have more than one site check that the correct site is selected and scroll down the admin menu to find the Customize option
    3) Now select the Homepage settings option
    4) Using the option for Posts Page, select the page you created for Posts
    5) Using the option for Homepage, select the page you want to be your static homepage
    6) Click the Publish button at the top of the sidebar and your settings will be saved and your Posts will show on the Posts page
