  Hi,

  I’m using Sela as the theme of my website and am in the process of setting up my blog.

  I just wanted to know if there was a way so that on the blog page, only an excerpt of the post appears so that those wishing to continue can click on it to read it more. Is this possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Some themes show excerpts on the blog page. For themes such Sela which display the full posts by default, you may use the More Tag. It must be added to each post at the point that you want it to be truncated on the blog page.

  In Sela, you can go into the Customizer‘s Content Options panel to display excerpts automatically, without needing to add a tag to each post. In the Blog Display section, choose “Post excerpt,” as shown here:
