Sela – blog welcome page?

Hi,
I have a welcome page with a featured image at https://lgkvwclub.wordpress.com/blog/ but it’s not showing up! What you see is the first blog post, not the welcome page with the text I have entered.
Is there a way to change this? I’d like to have a front page with links to all the (future) blog posts. Would this change if there was more than one entry?

Hi @lgkvwclub,
Any page that you have set to be your site’s Posts Page via the Static Front Page panel of the Customizer will display a listing of your latest blog posts. Text that you’ve added to the editor of your Posts Page will be overridden with most themes, which is what has happened here.
An option is to publish a sticky post containing your welcome message. Sticky posts will always be displayed at the very top of your Posts Page and, so, will be the first message that visitors to your blog see.
Alternatively, you could also enter your welcome message into a Text Widget and insert it into your site’s sidebar. You could use widget visibility settings in order to only display that text on your Posts Page.

Thank you so much! I’ve set our welcome post as a sticky, and that will do just fine!
I do have another question about image sizes (they’re killing me!!!) should I post here or start a new one?
