Sela thema grid template

  I have a question about setting my homepage. When you browse the blog, I want to show the latest blogs in the grid template. Now I just see the whole blogs below the other and I would like to show the featured image + the first sentence of the blog and then […] read more. At the moment I post a new blog it has to appear at the homepage. I’m using the Sela theme and I think this is possible, but I’m struggling whole day long haha Can someone please help me out?

  Does what you want to do appear in the detailed theme description page text? https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sela/

  Grid Template
  The Grid Page template is designed to show child pages in a grid format. To get started, first create or edit a page, and assign it to the Grid Page template from the Page Attributes box. The content of this page and featured image – if one is set – will be displayed above the grid.

  Thanks for your answer! I named the page ‘Home’, but do you know how I can show the newest blogs at the homepage? So that you have an overview, like 6 blocks or something and the first sentence of the blog…
