How do I remove “home” from front page? I only want widgets on home page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I don’t find “home” on the front page of https://annafinocchiaro.com/. Have you resolved this issue?
-
OOps, I changed it to “under construction”. Is there a way to remove that whole section and only have front page widgets?

Is there a way to remove that whole section
Probably. Which theme are you using?
and only have front page widgets?
Again, depends upon the theme activated.

If “Under Construction” is the title of the static front page, then you may hide the title with CSS Customization, but I don’t know about hiding the rest of the page, even if it has no content. Sorry, I hadn’t realized that the topic was in the CSS Customization forum, which I know nothing about.
I’d suggest that you either wait for a responder with knowledge in that area, or add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.

You could hide that section from view by adding the following snippet to the CSS panel of the WordPress.com Customizer:
.front-page-content-area.content-area { display: none; }Let me know if that helps you out or if anything else comes up.

Hi, Is it possible to set a video to my featured image on home page? For example, http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/19/magazine/the-cost-of-sally-manns-exposure.html?_r=0
Something short (10-15 seconds) that plays on repeat

Also, on my home page, can I move the words widget titles to lay over the image or move them below the image?

I’m happy to see that Richard was able to help out with your questions over here:
