Sela theme

Hi hopefully someone can help…. Can the widgets go at the top before the text and can you change the background colour of either the text box or the widget panel? It doesn’t seem to have that as an option?

Hi,
Can the widgets go at the top before the text
The widget area options are listed in the Sela theme guide. It says:
Sela offers seven widget areas:
- Main Sidebar appears on the right in blog view and on pages, using the default template.
- Three optional footer widget areas.
- Three optional widget areas on the Front Page Template.
and can you change the background colour of either the text box or the widget panel?
Text links in widgets, and in post and page content, as well as posts titles when you run the cursor over them, are the same color as the header navigation (menu) bar. This color can be changed at Customize > Backgrounds & Colors. There is no option to the default background color for widgets. I’m not sure what you mean by “text box” vs. “widget panel.” In my tests, the off-white color of widget background is undifferentiated from the off-white background elsewhere on the page.
At Customize > Backgrounds & Colors, with the default setting you will find the off-white/coral palette background shown in the preview and six other optional palettes to choose from under “Choose a Palette.” The color chosen here will be reflected in the links and background of widgets. There are further background color options, but these options affect border colors and don’t seem to affect text link color.
Other options regarding widget background color would require CSS customization.
