Sela Theme
-
Love this theme! I was hoping a wordpress expert could suggest a solution. I would like to change my “Blog” page to display as a Grid Template (would be much easier to see since my posts contain a lot of photos).
Problem being, my blog page displays all my blog posts chronologically and there is no option to select a parent page for posts it seems.
Is there any way to have my blog page just show a preview of each post? Or should I individually copy & paste each post into a new page so that I can parent them under the “blog” page to utilize the grid template of Sela?
Any input is much appreciated, thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What to do is at Settings > Reading change the page to display on the front page (homepage) from your blog page to a static page. Then assign another page to display your posts on. Your blog page, http://prairiesucculents.com/blog/, is perfectly suitable for that purpose.

Some themes automatically display post excerpts on the blog or posts page. Sela doesn’t. However, you can truncate posts on the blog page using More tags.

The Grid Page Template grid will contain featured image and title links to child pages, not to posts. There are several themes with optional grid-based front pages where the grid items link to posts. Among them are the following:
Hatch
Mixfolio
Pictorico
Fontfolio
Cubic and
Autofocus.
