Sela theme about page

    Hi,

    I have just started a blog with the sela theme and while playing around trying to get pages to work I have accidentally deleted the about page that was showing. So, there are now no pages available when I press pages. When I then press add new page under page settings and parent page it says no parent. So I can see no way to make it go to the about page rather than the home page.

    Does anyone know how I can reinstate the about page?

    If you have no pages, then of course the next created page will have no parent.

    So I can see no way to make it go to the about page rather than the home page.

    You man create a new page called “about.” It needn’t have a parent.

    You may create a new page called “about.”

  • You can reinstate pages you accidentally deleted by going into the Trash in WP Admin and clicking Restore below each post, or checking the box next to each page and using the bulk editor to restore:
