Sela Theme – Blog Posts on Grid Page? Possible?

Hi! One of the main reasons I was attracted to the Sela theme was the ability to use a grid page (as in the demo, for recipes). However, my wordpress site (lifeissweetasapeach.com) is a blog, not a website. I make this distinction because most/all of my content is created in the blog post format, and NOT on separate, stand-alone pages (such as an about page). Being that it’s meant to be a blog, I’d like to keep it this way. Unless of course, someone can fill me in on why it’d be better to make a ton of pages for everything and not posts! :-)
My question is – has anyone had any luck using the grid template, and linking posts as the objects which grid underneath, rather than individual pages? Do you have advice for how this can be done? The issue I run into is that you can’t seem to select posts.
I could also be missing something completely obvious. That’s more than likely, haha. Thank you! Have a nice day.

Hi there, Sela isn’t designed to display posts in a grid, only child pages of a page assigned to the Grid Page template. There isn’t a way to change the way that works.
Would you consider using a theme that’s designed to display posts in a grid format? A few examples of free themes that are designed to do that are:

Thank you, @kathrynwp! I thought that may have been the case. I’ll check out those other themes. Such a shame, I like this one – seems like a good opportunity for extra functionality. Thanks again.
