Sela Theme button colors

  Hello,

  I’ve been digging for an answers, but I haven’t been able to find one. Could someone help me figure out what code I need to change the Subscriber button on blog as well as the menu button when viewing in mobile format?

  I apologies in the lack of editing. I am trying to change the color of the two buttons and need a code for CSS to identify those items. I can take care of matching the hex color.

  Hi there,

  This CSS should work for both those buttons, and also any future buttons you might add to the site (provided those buttons don’t have more specific CSS styling themselves):

  button {
    background-color: blue;
  }

  Hi Kokkieh,

  Thanks for the link to the WordPress forum; I wasn’t aware of that section.

  Unfortunately the CSS provided had no effect on the button colors. I’ve tried copying in tons of code that other people used to change the color for their sites but I haven’t had any luck.

  Any other thoughts?

  You would need to as your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
