Sela Theme – category post shortcode for thumbnail not work

  Goodmorning,
  I have try to use the code:`
  [display-posts category="film" posts_per_page="5" image_size="thumbnail"]`
  to add a text widget to see the last 5 posts with category “film” and if possible the image.

  If u check on my website: gerardopandolfi.com
  on ULTIMI FILM INSERITI, you can see only the text and not the images.
  I want something about the other my widget, always in my website: “I PIU LETTI”

  Do u think it possible?

  i think to understand my issue, not use the thumbnail image in my posts.
  But is it possible enable “normal image” (from external link or saved on my Media) and not only the thumbnail?

  Hi there, no that isn’t possible. The code will only pull the image set as the featured image set for the posts. If a featured image is not set, then no image is pulled in. We cannot change that with CSS. It would require editing the theme php script files, which is not allowed here at WordPress.com.
