Sela Theme : Custom CSS question!
-
Hi all,
Apologies, I am a very new to coding but I need some help setting up this blog on behalf of my church. I really like the sela theme but I don’t want the overlaid text box on the featured image on the homepage. Is there a way I can disable this somehow?
Many thanks in advance!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I hope your have Custom Design upgrade on your account :-)

I checked http://unlimitedchurch.org.uk/ and I see that you were able to hide the overlaid box using this custom CSS:
.hero-container-inner { display: none }Looks great!

Is there a way to hide the text from a child page when using the grid template? I want the parent page to display the grid of child pages as page title and a one line description. Currently it seems to show an arbitrary amount of text from the child page and then […] The page I’m trying to edit is http://amsuganda.org/services/
Thanks!

Interesting, so you didn’t really want to hide the text but rather wanted to edit the text. Thanks for posting a follow-up note about it after the issue was resolved! It’s helpful to see that.
