Sela Theme – Featured Image does not match to the Demo
-
Hi,
Before activating the Sela theme to my blog, the featured image in the preview is not blocked by the blog posts title. However, after activating it, the featured image is blocked. Is there any way to adjust/edit this?
Thanks.

I can’t answer your question but I am popping on because I came to the forums to find out about Sela. I’ve been using it for over a year now but the other day I went and tried on some new themes just for fun, I accidentally changed it so I had to change it back, when I reactive tend the Sela theme, the header images changed.
Before they had a white space in them where the ‘post’ sort ‘sat inside’ the header image… Is that what you are seeing now?
Since I swapped and changed back again, it’s no longer like that, it’s separate…. I’ve looked on the themes demo and at all the information and I can’t see that it’s changed or any kind of notification. I did see that the header image looks on there, how it now looks on my blog…. I can’t work out what has happened. Anyway, sorry for bombarding your post with an unhelpful answer… I’m adding some tags to see if anyone can help us work out what is going on :) -
Hi there,
Each theme is designed and displays featured images differently. In Sela’s case, it is designed that the post title and text must overlap the featured image. You might be able to override it with custom CSS, but you’ll only be able to do that if you have the Premium Plan upgrade.

On your site I still see the posts overlapping featured images, same as on the demo site. Can you take a screen shot of how it looks to you and upload it to your media library? Then let me know or paste the link here and I can take a look for you. -

Thanks for letting me know. It could be that Windows Edge renders the CSS differently than other browsers. I’ll ask our theme team to look into that.
