  Hi, I’m looking to display the post excerpt and a thumbnail image on my home page…and I’ve added a feature image, but then when i click in the post to read the entire post the image shows up twice….can someone please help

  On this post, you have the same “website under construction” image set as a featured image and also in the post content.

  I suggest you remove the featured image so that the image in the post content is shown on the homepage and won’t repeat in the post page.

  Hi thanks for responding. Only problem is when I delete the feature image, it will also delete from the main page and excerpt. My objecruvw is to have a picture with an excerpt on te main page. Any suggestions?

  So you removed feature image from this post, and it deleted the image from home (main) page. That is interesting.

  What do you have as the contents of the homepage?

  Hi, I took a look at your site and it appears you have gotten this taken care of as I’m not seeing the image twice on the single post page. Let us know if you have additional questions or problems.

  I have the same theme and would like to add more than just “home” and “about” to the bar on top – how do I do that, and fill it with content? Sorry for the probably very basic question.

  Hi there, in the default setup, as you add more pages to your site they will automatically appear in the Primary navigation at top.

  Alternately, you can create your own Custom Menu where you have much more control over what appears in your menu and what does not. For example, you can add category or tag pages, and even Custom Links to another site if you so choose.
