  I have my featured image, and I would like to remove the white box overlay containing “HOME” and other text. I just want my featured image there. How do I take this white Box overlay off my home page and off my featured image?

  Hi there,

  Changing this would require Custom CSS which becomes available when upgrading the site to WordPress.com Business or Premium.

  As an alternative, you might consider a theme that does not have a text box over the image.
