Sela Theme – How to add images into a blog post

Hello, very new to this and this may seem a ridiculous question – apologies in advance.
A lot of blogs are image heavy which I was hoping to emulate; how can I drop pictures into the actual body of a post?

Hi there. :)
You can drag an image straight from your desktop or computer’s image folder and drop it directly into your post’s editor.
Alternatively, you can click on the Add Media button from the toolbar of your editor to upload an image to your post.

Sio… I’m having problem with my instagram image widget, it used to show and now doesn’t. I have removed and re-added to no avail. Is this a “universal” problem that is being fixed or do I need to do something? x

Hi @stylesyllabub,
The Instagram widget is still working on my own WordPress.com site and a few others that I spot checked, so I believe the error is with the connection between WordPress.com and your individual account.
Could you please try revoking access to WordPress.com via the Instagram Authorized Applications page before disconnecting/reconnecting from widget? You can revoke access from the following page:
https://www.instagram.com/accounts/manage_access/
When you connect to Instagram again from the widget, you should be navigated to Instagram and prompted to accept authorisation again.
Let me know how you get on with those steps or if the issue continues. We can work from there.

I’ve done all of the above to no avail. revoked accessed than allowed it again – I just don’t know what to do? :-S
I follow this blog http://isabellathordsen.com/ and I noticed hers wasn’t showing which is why I thought maybe its widespread :-S

On another note, I added an image to gravatar the other day and this default one is still showing… do you know what I can do about that? :-S

I took a look over your site just now and your photos from Instragram are displaying again. Yay! :) Could you take another look and confirm that for me?
On another note, I added an image to gravatar the other day and this default one is still showing… do you know what I can do about that? :-S
I can see your new image was successfully uploaded to Gravatar.com but that it hasn’t yet been selected as your new Gravatar. To change this, login to Gravatar.com and head to My Gravatars:
https://en.gravatar.com/emails/
Select your image and then click on the “Confirm” button. You Gravatar will then update from the new one.

hmmm, it automatically brings up the G, so I click on my picture and it does change from G to my picture, but cant see a confirm button.
oh gosh… :-S
