Sela theme: how to get Read More…. on front page widgets

  On the front page of the sela theme, there are 3 widget areas, each one with an image and some text below them. Each of the text areas has a Read More… link. When I add my text widget, the entire text displays without a read more… link. How do I get the read more… link? Do I create a page instead of a text widget? Do I create a blog post and link to it?

  No, a text widget will do. The “read more” tags in this case are simple text widget links.
