Sela Theme Link Colour

Add topic to favorites
Hi there,
I’ve set the colour for the links, visited links, active links, and hover links as purple but when I hover over they’re black and “home” is always black. Does anyone know how to make them all purple? Thanks!

Please try this:
```
.main-navigation li.current_page_item > a, .main-navigation li.current-menu-item > a,
.main-navigation a:hover, .main-navigation ul > :hover > a, .main-navigation ul > .focus > a {
    color:#b98fd6;
}
```
Please note that using this style causes all links, including the currently selected menu item, in the menu in the purple. Id you wish to have a different color for currently selected page, separate out
```
.main-navigation li.current_page_item > a, .main-navigation li.current-menu-item > a
```
from the above CSS into a new rule.

Isn’t your blog title part of the background image?

I think you sorted this. Hoping you don’t need anything. Please let me know, otherwise :-)

Sorry I meant the blog post titles, so all the other links on my blog. Not sure if it’s possible to change those.

To change the blog post title colors in the Sela theme with CSS, you can add something like this to your Appearance > Customize > CSS editor:
```
.page-title,
.entry-title,
.entry-title a {
	color: black;
}
```
I used this method to figure out what selectors to use:

im using the sela theme I am very new to blogging, I dont know much about css can I change the colour of my blog post title in my theme?

Please add this CSS into CSS Editor and see if you like the result:
```
.post .entry-header .entry-title a {
    color: red;
}
```
Please note that CSS Editor is available only if you have Custom Design upgrade.

Feel free to change the color (red) to whatever you wish to use. You can add either the color name or color code you like from here.

The CSS I gave is for http://lolalux.wordpress.com/ which you deleted.

http://lolalux.com/ is not hosted on WordPress.com so we won’t be able to help you here. Please head to WordPress.org support forums to get help with self-hosted blog.

In case you wonder, please check the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
