Sela theme static main page header different from all other headers
-
This is for a site I’m customizing gracefulconclusions.com. I’d like to make the main page header white background but all other headers for all other pages (including the blog) with an image and white text for the site title).
Thoughts?

Hi there, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites using Sela, there is a dedicated Sela Theme Support Forum at WordPress.org.

I took a quick peek at your site and will offer this to get you started. You will have to get the unique page id CSS class from the opening body tag on each page you wish to be different and then create the CSS selector needed. As an example, this is your About Kathy page.
.page-id-2 .site-branding { background: url("URL_OF_IMAGE") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; } .page-id-2 .site-branding .site-title a, .page-id-2 .site-branding .site-description { color: #fff; }You will very likely have to add some additional CSS declarations and make adjustment depending on the nature and size of your image.
