  I’m not sure how we can help you, could you specify what you mean that your text disappeared? And where exactly are you looking for the Select All button? What are you trying to select?

  The page where I want to paste some text and to decrease the gigantic font size is https://schmurrblog.wordpress.com/2021/01/30/tapino/
  This page CANNOT be reached by Switch site but only by the external link I memorized. There is https://schmurrblog.wordpress.com/ but not the above page.
  What are you trying to select? I’m trying to select ALL the text.
  Where exactly are you looking for the Select All button? I’m looking for it on the above page.

  Now I found a button Edit and pressed it and now the URL is https://wordpress.com/post/schmurrblog.wordpress.com/65. I found Select but you have to always keep pressed the mouse while scrolling along the whole long text. That’s why I would so much appreciate a Select All button.

  To edit your blog posts you must first pick the site you want to edit (I see you have several) and then when the dashboard for that site loads, you can go to the “Posts” tab to see the blog posts for your site: https://wordpress.com/posts/schmurrblog.wordpress.com

  That is correct, when you edit this page, you see the URL has changed to the private edit link. This is expected, and the URL you pasted is correct and what I see when I edit that post as well.

  We do not offer a “select all” button on WordPress.com, but you can try this method instead:

  

  This will allow you to copy all the content of the post (including the formatting) and then paste it into a new page or post instead.
