selected categories not showing on top of post ?

this is a blog that i’ve only recently have started, and although i’ve set everything up as on other blogs of mine i seem to have an issue that i’m not sure how to resolve
on another blog of mine, https://marnixbirdgallery.wordpress.com/, the various posts show a list of the selected categories for that post on top of the page (e.g. https://marnixbirdgallery.wordpress.com/2016/11/09/sicilian-black-winged-stilts/)
however, on my new blog posts that doesn’t appear to be the case (e.g. https://theserendipitousatheist.wordpress.com/2016/11/09/has-anyone-seen-my-horse/) – does anyone have any idea what’s up ? am i missing something so obvious that i can’t see it ?
btw, i’m using the same theme for both blogs

sorry for wasting your time – the categories do show, maybe it took some time for them to show ?
