selecting a file for upload

When I go to select a file it takes me to the wrong google drive folder. I have changed my email account in settings but it seems to default to the google drive I created the blog with.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Go to My Site ->Sharing. The option to disconnect a Google Photos account and connect another is on that page.
The initial connection was made using the Gmail address you used to sign up, but changing that email later does not automatically change the Google Photos connection.

Thanks for that. I have gone and done what you suggested and was all excited that this would solve the problem BUT I went back to a draft post and tried to select a file but it is still connecting to the old Google Account.

Google Photos is still connected to your account. Please go to the following link to disconnected it:

I appreciate your support – I might need to explain further.
The Google Account that I have connected IS the one I want connected – it is the one I want to access photos from.
BUT I am still being taken to my original Google Folder (the account I signed up with) when I want to add a photo to a post. I hope this explains the problem better.

So when you create a new post, and you click Add Media ->Media from Google, the photos coming up are not the ones from your Google Photos library for the account showing connected under Sharing but from a different Gmail account?
In that case the other account might still be connected to your WordPress.com account on Google’s side. In Gmail for the other account, click on your profile picture and click Google Account. In the Security settings section open Apps with account access. If you see WordPress listed there, remove it.
It might also be necessary to disconnect and reconnect the correct account.

I disconnected and reconnected the Google Account I want linked – but no luck either!
How do I add ‘WordPress’ to my new Google Account? Maybe I haven’t done this?
Also, whenever I go to sign in it defaults back to the email and password I opened my WordPress account with – I would really like to eliminate this account altogether from my WordPress Blogs as I am changing schools.
I have just had a thought – might it be because i have other blogs under this Google Account also? -
I would log out of WordPress and also out of any gmail accounts and then clear your browser cache and cookies and start from scratch and see how that goes.
