Selections for "Freshly Pressed"

I have been a WordPress blog member for about five years now. My second blog site is a non-profit poetry site that serves the “Homeless Cause of Texas.” An example of our charity work in this area can be found in the new Samaritan Inn of McKinney, Texas. It is a homeless shelter for Collin County, Texas serving approximatedly 150 families.
After the last two years that I have been observing selections for “Freshly Pressed.” I have observed there has never been a “Poetry Site” in this selection process. This is not brought to your attention for the sake of my blog, but rather that this truly is a catergory that should be celebrated. I know there is great interest in this art form. Today, my own WordPress blog in this area has now exceeded over 21,000 hits. Thank you for this time rendered in giving my point of view on this subject.

http://en.wordpress.com/tag/poetry/I notice on your home page that none of your posts wear the category or tag “poetry” and suggest that as a reason you don’t appear on the global tag pages for “poetry.”

Thank you for your observation and advice. I am now in process of making such a tag on all my 160 plus poetry postings on my blog site.
