Selective Instagram photos on wordpress blog

  Hello. I want to add an instagram widget to my blog but my instagram profile is not public. Is it possible that I can make selective instagram photos visible on my blog? I have seen blogs in which readers can click on the instagram photos in side bar and view them but when they click on the user’s name, the profile says it’s private. That’s what I want. Please help me.

  Please give us a link to one such blog. It’s a HUGE security flaw for Instagram if it’s true.

  It seems as if the widget is posting photos which SHOULD be private. Take your chances with that.

  Hi there,

  Instagram allows accounts to be set as private, but the Instagram Widget can be used to shared photos from your feed even if you’d like to keep your account private.

  However, there isn’t a way to make only selective posts from Instagram available in the widget. All of the posts on the Instagram account you connect will be shared through the widget.

  There must be a way, otherwise there’s no use keeping an account private if the widget displays all photos that are there.

  Hi there,

  How is possible to share photos through the Instagram widget keeping my account private, Rachel? I used the widget but it shared all my photos, which I don’t want to happen.

  When you use the Instagram widget, it will share all of your photos, even if your account is private. There isn’t a way to select only some photos when you use that widget.

  However, if you want to just pick out some photos to share on your blog, you can embed single photos from Instagram by following this guide: Instagram
