Selective RSS Feed from a blog
-
I’d like to be able to include some posts – selected from the blog by the category tags used – in our main website as a News feed. Is this possible? (The other posts will not be relevant in that context, so I’d want to be able to select on the basis of the category tags. The category tags that I would want to use are already in place.)
Many thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Assuming your blog is hosted here at wordpress.COM (you didn’t post a link to it so I don’t know for sure).
Each category has its own feed in this form (this from my blog here where “apple” is the name of the category:

You can include a category feed from your blog in an RSS widget in your sidebar.
With the custom menu, you could also include a category in your main navigation.
If the theme you are using does not have top navigation, you can use the custom menu widget and include a link to that category in it as well.

Extremely helpful reply – many, many thanks. (Yes, it is a wordpress.com hosted site, and you’ve pointed me in the direction of several helpful things that I wasn’t even trying to do!).
