self-hosted and considering moving to WordPress

    I have three different blogs – I believe in one database. What is the best plan in WordPress for this? Can WordPress manage the migration? What are the up-sides to have WordPress host? What are the down-sides to hosting on WordPress? Thanks for your help.

    You can check out the differences between hosting your sites on WordPress.com vs self-hosting here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    The biggest difference is hw much control you want to have over hosting features. If you don’t want to worry about back end features but less flexibility, WordPress.com is the place to host your sites. If you want more flexibility but personally makes sure that things such as security is taken care of, then self-hosting is the better option.
