Self-hosted but not showing up as such, also no Plugins
-
Noticed the other day that I don’t have a “plugins” option on my dashboard. Tried to find an answer, all said that they were only available to self hosted sites. We have that, the site URL does not contain “.wordpress.com”. However, the url changes when I go to the dashboard and then does contain “.wordpress.com”. Not sure if that is relevant, but does seem strange. Either way, no plugins option is available…any help would be great. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Changing the domain change doesn’t change the hosting. It literally only changes the URL. http://thewoodercooler.com/ is a WordPress.COM blog with the custom domain upgrade, that’s all. That’s why you don’t have any plugins.
You need to find a reliable web host, buy hosting, install software from WordPress.org, import your old posts, change the nameservers so your domain points to the new blog, and then set the old one to Private. Then you can have plugins.
