Self Hosted Plan

I have a web site that I wanting to convert to wordpress. I want to add the google ad sense plug-in. When I clicked on plug-ins it said that i needed to have a self hosted site. I cannot find out where to go to get a self hosted wordpress site or, how to cancel my account.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.
