Self hosted problems – help isn't helping – someone please help

Today I paid $122 to have my blog self hosted on Bluehost. I followed the directions exactly how they were listed and do not have the self hosted site I was under the impression that I had just paid for.

My blog is called Turtleboysports.com. I paid the $26 for the domain mapping a while back, to get rid of the turtleboysports.wordpress.com thing.

Now what I would like to do is transfer all of my files from the wordpress turtleboysports.com page the bluehost turtleboysports.com page. Can someone PLEASE help me do this? I’ve been trying for several days now. Thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I assume you’ve already installed WordPress on your Bluehost account but can’t access the wp-admin page? I checked your blog and I saw that it’s still the http://turtleboysports.wordpress.com site, just redirecting to your URL. You need to change the name servers from your http://turtleboysports.wordpress.com dashboard (Store->My Domains) to Bluehost’s name servers so it would stop doing that. When you have, you’ll be able to access the wp-login.php or wp-admin page from http://turtleboysports.com (if that’s the directory where you installed WordPress on Bluehost). :)

I just switched from WordPress.com to a self-hosted blog and I also signed up with Bluehost. Everything’s up and running in my case. Check out the links below—they were of big help to me.

Changing the name servers of the paid upgrade: https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/1
Transferring the registration of your turleboysports.com URL from WordPress.com to Bluehost (optional especially since you probably still have months left to your URL registration with WordPress, what’s important is you change the name servers): https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/domains-transfer
Importing your old blog to your new self-hosted one: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
