Self-hosted site post not displaying in follower's reader
-
Hi there! I’ve recently switched to a self-hosted WordPress site but I am a follower of the new site. However, the new post of the new site isn’t displaying in my follower’s reader.
It looks like I was able to successfully import my followers and subscribers because I am able to see them in the new site. I was wondering if there’s any additional thing that I should do to get my new posts to show up in my follower’s reader.
Thanks.

Hi there,
Your site is appearing in the Reader to me. Were you following it via your WordPress.com account before you transferred the subscribers? Then you should still see it in your Reader feed. Maybe try clearing your browser cache and see if that helps.
You can also go to this page and make sure you are still following your site:

Yes, I was following it before I moved to self-hosted and transferred followers and subscribers.
I can see it now but yesterday, only the old posts are showing up, not the new one. Any idea why it took some time?

I did see another site that I was following which has also moved to a self-hosted site in my reader feed real-time. Is there anything I should do to make my posts appear in real-time?

A delay is normal with Jetpack sites. We’re continually working on both the Reader and the Jetpack plugin to cut down that delay, but it still sometimes happens. There’s not anything you can do about it, but if you notice a post is taking more than 24 hours to show up, let us know as we might need to force the Reader to refetch your site’s feed in that case.
