Self-Hosted vs Fully-Hosted

  I know that you can only use plugins on self-hosted sights, but how do I know which I have? I want to be able to use the speech-to-text plugin. Specifically, I have a voice recording that I would love to have transcribed into a blog, not embedded, but converted from speech to text. Is this possible? I already downloaded the plugin. Thanks, Debbie

  Hi Debbie,

  You have a hosted site as you are signed up to WordPress.com. WordPress.Org is the self hosted versions.

  Here is a little guide to both so you can familiarize yourself with them:

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  As you wish to use the speech-to-text plugin you will need to have a self hosted site on WordPress.org
