  Hi there

  I need to make a website to display/ promote my Makeup Artistry services.
  the requirements are as follows:
  ‘Website must be hosted by applicant/domain owned and not part of social media or community hosted sites’
  Currently my website is through word press and displays as: http://www.dlmakeupartistry.wordpress.com
  (which was declined by the program I am trying to get a membership through)

  My question is how do I make it so that my website is http://www.dlmakeupartistry.com ?
  Would that just entail/mean owning my own domain?
  If so how do I go about doing that through wordpress?
  Do I need to upgrade to plan 1-2-or 3?
  Please let me know.

  Any of the paid WordPress.com plans includes your own domain name, which would allow you to remove “.wordpress.com” from your website address. I would take a look at the plans and see which one will work best for you.

  It does look like the domain http://www.dlmakeupartistry.com/ is already registered though. According to the Whois information, it was purchased in November, 2015.
