Self-hosted WordPress site's posts not showing up on WordPress Reader
-
Hi,
Ever since I shifted from my WordPress.com site http://thehighwaymoksha.wordpress.com/ to my self-hosted site http://thehighwaymoksha.com/, my blog posts on the latter have not been showing up on the WordPress Reader.
I am not aware so do let me know. Don ONLY wordpress.com blog posts show in the Reader?
Or is there some settings I may be missing out to show my self-hosted one’s on the Reader as well? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks.
But is there no workaround to publish self hosted wordpress.org posts into the reader?

I was considering this:
I will publish the same posts to my earlier WordPress.com site as well in order to get them published on WordPress Reader, and then having a redirect to my self hosted blog. Will this work?

No. If you have a self-hosted blog, then your site is not hosted here on WordPress.com. The Reader automatically adds only blogs hosted here organized according to their tags (categories).
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are separate entities.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/reader/WordPress.com users can choose to add sites they follow from outside of the wp.com community.

I’m not an expert on Google, but there is this to consider when you publish duplicate content:

Clone sites are against the Terms of Service here – so your site here would be suspended and search engines HATE duplicate clone sites so both sites would be hammered by search engines (but when your clone site here was suspended the duplicate content issue would go – but it would take many many months for search engines to forgive you
but yes – your clone site would show back up in the Reader Tags until it was suspended
