  Hi i would like to build a website, self host this with my own domain. How can this be done ?

  It sounds like you want to host your site somewhere other than WordPress.com using the open source WordPress software found at WordPress.org?

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot provide assistance for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
