I’m getting the hang of this css stuff, but I need to have a copy of my site’s html for editing purposes. (It helps to see where my stylesheets correspond to my site’s content). A direct response is much appreciated. 8)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot access to edit the HTML or PHP underlying your theme and edit it.
Stylesheet for the Untitled theme here https://wpcom-themes.svn.automattic.com/untitled/style.css
-
You can view source, or use an HTML DOM Inspector (if you use Chrome, right click on anything on the page, then click Inspect Element) to aid you in figuring out what needs to be styled.

The source for the Themes is also public – sorry don’t remember the link – but I do remember looking at some php files some time back for a Theme here

Yes it’s Firebug and the relevant support entry is here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/ under this section http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/#css-help

There’s an SVN repository of all of the free themes on WordPress.com. It’s at:
https://wpcom-themes.svn.automattic.comYou can view all of the files there (even through a web browser). In this case (editing custom CSS for a wp.com site), it’s not as helpful as actually inspecting the rendered HTML in a browser though.
