Self-trackback approval
-
There are often times where I will use trackbacks in my own blog to link to previous posts that I have written. Every time I do this, the website requires me to approve it, even though I know that I was the one who created said trackback.
Is there any way to automatically approve trackbacks that are written by the author of the post onto another post in that author’s blog? (If there is not, that is fine, but it is still slightly annoying to have to approve each one.)

See here for disabling self pings > http://en.support.wordpress.com/comments/pingbacks/#can-i-stop-self-pings
I don’t bother. I delete the ones I don’t want to post and approve the ones I do want to appear. -
I don’t understand why trackbacks or pingbacks are in the comments section and I don’t know what to do with them. When some other site links (trackbacks) to my spam notice, will I cancel the link on their site if I delete it from my spam notice?
