  Wanting to sell ebooks on basic wordpress plan – is it possible?

  There is currently no ecommerce functionality on WordPress.com. If that is something that is important to your site plans, I would encourage you to look into setting up a WordPress.org site through a host like Pressable or BlueHost and using WooCommerce.

  Thanks for the response. I’ve bought a domain through go daddy. Could I host a WordPress on there with commerce? Or would I need to get WordPress.org?

  GoDaddy hosting can help you set up a WordPress.org site o their servers, absolutely.
