  Can I sell digital downloads? If so can I limit how many times it can be downloaded? Can I also have the downloaded PDF marked to help prevent sharing?

  Yes, you’re able to sell digital downloads using WordPress.com using simple payments for example on a Premium plan. However, you’ll need a Business plan if you’re wanting the ability to manage # of downloads since that functionality is possible through the use of plugins.

  Here are some plugins that may work for your needs that I found using the search term “download manager”:

  There also appear to be plugins available that will give you the option of adding watermarks to your sold PDF files as well. Here are a few I found using the search term “watermark PDF”: https://wordpress.com/plugins?s=watermark+pdf
