selling domain name

I bought this domain through WordPress with the intention of using it as part of the promotion for a book I’m releasing this summer. I have recently been approached by someone who would like to use the domain name and has asked to buy it. I am happy with this, and to use a different domain myself, but I can’t see any advice here on what I actually need to do to transfer ownership of the name. Thanks :)

You can use those instructions to transfer it to another owner as well.

Auxclass’s suggestion is also a good one. Particularly if there is any serious amount of money changing hands.
I have only sold domains a couple times. Both times the buyer just sent a check or paypal prior to my transferring them the domain. But both were fairly small transactions (though worth my while for a domain I was not using). I think if I had gotten a significant offer I would have used an escrow service of some sort.

And that’s really helpful to know I can use the change of registrar instructions to transfer to another owner – hadn’t realised that, so that’s perfect, thank you!
