  Can I list links to purchase my books, such as to Amazon and PayPal, on the free wordpress site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes. If you wrote the books, you can put links for how to purchase them on your blog.

  PayPal: you can use the plain button for either donate or buy now.
