Selling Premium Blackberry Themes?

  I recently started a blog with a free account on here to share information regarding Blackberry devices as well as to showcase the themes I have developed. At this point I have only showcased the free themes I have developed on my blog, but I would like to start selling some premium themes on it as well.

  This is mind, what I need to know is…

  Will I violate anything on WP by selling my themes on my blog?

  If not, where can I find information regarding setting up a page on my blog to sell them?

  Any other helpful information pertaining to this would be greatly appreciated!!

  You will need to contact staff directly and ask. As well, it’s difficult to integrate WP.com with Paypal. You can get a donate button, but it’s not very good for sales at a fixed price. People get confused and close the window.

  Thank you both for the replies!!

  auxclass… I read through the links you provided me and while you almost have to be an attorney to make sense of a lot of it, I don’t really see anything that would prevent me from selling my themes on my blog. I would be publicizing them much like I am now with my free ones, only as premium. If you look at my blog (jbberryblog.wordpress.com) you will see I have posted about my themes stating they’re free, only now I want to post saying they are “premium”. Once a person chooses to download and click the download link, they will be sent to my OTA (over the air) host. But my blog itself would look and be posted to pretty much exactly the same.

  raincoaster… I attempted to contact WP Support, but I get a page saying something along the lines of it being down and to go to the forums. I did look into the Paypal thing and I agree, it sounds as if it would be more of a pain than anything.

  Right now I advertise my free themes on my blog by posting about them as soon as they’re published. I’d like to do the same thing with some premium themes, but the post themselves would look exactly the same as the free ones only instead of being marked [Free] it would say [Premium]. Once someone click the Download link, the window will open from my OTA host who would deal with the rest. If that makes sense.

  We can’t really help you. You’ll have to wait to hear back from staff. I’m pretty sure you’ll be fine, but it’s always good to make sure.
