Selling with WordPress

  Hello,

  I’m thinking of moving my current website from Joomla to WordPress. I currently advertise events for my clients, and I want to start selling tickets instead. I’m just wondering if WordPress could work for me. I’m wondering if it’s possible to set up different email notifications for each individual sale? And whether it’s possible to add more than one email address? So that I would receive a notification of sale, and my clients would also automatically receive an instant notification?

  Hi Lorien –

  No worries. So, my suggestion would be taking a look at WooCommerce.com as your eCommerce platform. It’s a WordPress plugin. They have tons of documentation written up on your site that will be a good starting point.

  You can add plugins to our Business plan, or host your own copy of WordPress.org with another provider.
