Selling wordpress.com domains

  Is selling wordpress.com domains legal? If not all blogs that haven’t been used and only have their name reserved should be deleted. I’ve got a list of these blogs. I wanted to use a name, and it was taken. When i searched it, this domain was with the kubrik theme and with no posts accept the default dummy posts at the beginning. This is not fair. And in my opinion it’s not legal.

  Seriously, are you serious?

  Your opinion is not tremendously well-informed. I suggest if you wish to sue you contact a lawyer. And take cash, lots of it.

  “I want to use a name but someone else has it so it is illegal” Is this your point?

  I meant to say that i was searching for a specific name. And i saw it taken. Everything was fine till here. I’ve watched the blog for about 3 months and it never changed. Not one bit. He never posted. It’s just the dummy text from the beginning that’s what i ment to say.

  This is not fair. And in my opinion it’s not legal.

  Fair is subjective but, as stated above, it is totally legal. Here’s the policy:

  You can try contacting the blog owner, either by email or leaving a comment, to see if he or she is willing to transfer the name to you.
