send post updates in blog language

  I would like to send followers a post update e-mail in Russian. (The language of the blog) It appears that wordpress sends them the e-mail in English. Is the language used in the e-mail based on their profile? Is there a way to send them the follower e-mail in Russian? Or, is their a way to customize the e-mail that is sent to them?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The email sent is either the blog post or a summery of the blog post – these are taken directly from the post, so if you write a post in Russian the text should be in Russian – there might be some other English words somewhere – the from line or where ever – sorry beyond this I can’t help.

  Subscribe to your own site with email and make a post and see what you get.
