Send to editor button – nothing happens
-
I’ve been trying to upload a picture from the server and I hit the “send to editor” button nothing happens. Tried now about 5 times in IE and Foxfire.
The picture is shown in my folder when I hit “browse all” at 400kb.
Thank you,

If it’s shown in your folder, try this workaround: click on the pic but instead of “Send to editor” try clicking Edit, then grab teh URL from the box there and put that in using either the code or visual editor. Sometimes this is a glitch that seems to repair itself, so working around it for a few hours is worth it.

I have the same problem. When I click on “Send to Editor” nothing happens.
I tried Firefox 2.0.0.1 in Ubuntu, IE 6 and on another computer IE 7 in WP. With IE in XP I get “Error on Page”:
Line:275
Char:5
Error: Object doesn’t support this property or method.
Code: 0
URL: http://www.ic-casati.com/wordpress/wp-admin/upload.php?style=inline?tab=browse-all&post_id=……The strange thing is that with VISTA this doesn’t happen in Firefox nor IE.
And this problem doesn’t appear on two other WordPress installations we have.So I thought maybe the upload.php is corrupted? I changed that file but it didnt’ help.

@dulcerivas: do you have a link to your blog? I ask as the site linked to your username goes offsite.
If it is a wordpress.com blog, have you tried raincoaster’s workaround above? That works sometimes. Also if you clear your browser cache and try again, or even try it in a different browser like Firefox, that can help.
If your blog is a WordPress.org blog, though, you’ll need to ask over at http://wordpress.org/support/ as the software we use is different.
