“Send to editor” doesnt appear when uploading pictures

Today I discovered that I no longer can get pictures into my WordPress blog. When I have uploaded a picture from my computer, the option “Send to editor” doesnt appear. Instead two boxes appears with some code and the link to the picture, but the picture itself doesnt appear with the “Send to editor” option. I tried with several images but it was the same problem with everyone. I have had my blog since june and this has never happened before. What could be wrong?

are you using Safari as your browser by any chance? Safari does not play well with wordpress.com, and you’re better off switching to another browser.
If you’re not using Safari, then please tell us what you are using, the version, and your OS.

I’ve had this happen from time to time (even with Firefox), and found that if it did not appear, I could click on the “browse all in the upload box, locate the image and when I clicked on it the send to editor option would appear. You might give it a try. -
