“send to” or “share this”

  is there a reason that there is no button or badge that allows someone to email a wordpress.com link?

  We don not have this feature on wordpress.com blogs. If you need to find an answer as to why the first place to look will be the forum searchbox and the second will be to ask staff.

  Do note that “share this” is for wordpress.org software and that we cannot use it here at wordpress.com because we run on different software.

  Is there any more helpful advice on how to enable such a feature? A workaround? It seems a good way to drive traffic to the site. Just a clickable “share this article” where someone fills in a friend’s email with a short message. Thanks.
